Raise the Age and Cyber Aware

by Mike Ferguson

(St. Charles, MO) – Should 17 year old criminal suspects be tried as adults or go through the juvenile justice system

Right now, in Missouri, there’s no debate; they are prosecuted as adults. A proposal in the state legislature would change that. It would require 17 year old suspects to go through the juvenile system unless the circumstances warrant otherwise. Prosecutors could still have them tried as adults but would have to make their case for that separately.

Jeree Thomas from the Campaign for Youth Justice supports the change and explains why on this week’s episode.

Also, it’s easy to be lulled into a false sense of security when it comes to our personal and financial information online.

AT&T Missouri President John Sondag* updates us on some new tool available to help you spot scams and protect your credit, your money, and maybe your physical safety.
