Will cutting taxes threaten funding for education and social services in Missouri? Governor Nixon thinks so and that’s why he vetoed the idea.

Republicans in the State Legislature are expected to attempt an override of the tax cut plan. It calls for a gradual reduction in business and personal income taxes over the course of several years. The veto session begins next Wednesday.
