AUDIO SOUND BITE: Government Solutions vs Personal Responsibility

President Obama was talking jobs and education in Warrensburg this week. At the same time, unemployment in Missouri’s urban core areas remains higher than the national average.

Some call that a failure of government. According to one of the founders of a Missouri-based group for black conservatives, though, there’s more to it than that. Christopher Arps thinks a lack of personal responsibility is adding to problems for many who need work in urban areas.
