AUDIO SOUND BITE: MO Jobs With Justice Opposes “Right To Work” Plan

Is it about free choice or union busting? That depends on who you ask when it comes to the so-called “Right To Work” debate at the state capitol.

The plan would ban employers from making union membership a requirement for employees. It would also ban them from forcing non-union workers to pay what’s often called a “fair share” fee to unions. Opponents of the idea say it’s designed to stop workers from organizing in non-union shops.
