AUDIO SOUNDBITE: Renew Missouri Opposes KCP&L Request-1

Have you ever considered adding solar power to your home? As part of 2008’s “Proposition C” passage, there’s financial help for that available to many Missourians. It’s a rebate program that requires power companies to cover part of the cost of your solar system.

Kansas City Power and Light says it’s now costing them over 50-million dollars a year and they want state regulators to cap the program at 21-million a year. Renew Missouri opposes that request. Director P-J Wilson says on “Missouri Viewpoints” you have to keep the cost in context.

Wilson Solar-1                                   trt: 13                                    oc: solar programs

The rebates are available to K-C-P-and-L and Ameren customers.
