The Reality of Human Trafficking in Missouri

by Mike Ferguson

(St. Charles, MO) – The two words are ugly when strung together: human trafficking.

But it’s real and it’s happening in Missouri.

This week, we hear from Christine McDonald, who survived being trafficked for sex for two decades – 17 of those years she was trafficked in Missouri.

She talks about her story and also discusses a new documentary about the life she lived and that others live now. The film is called “Human Trafficking in the Heartland” and features McDonald, among other victims.

Christine now works to help others escape “the life”.
